Election 2020
For Election Day 2020, I was commissioned by The New Yorker to photograph on the streets of downtown Washington, D.C. during Nov. 2 and again when the race was called on Nov. 7. This is a series of portraits and candid images taken of Trump and Biden supporters, and any passersby caught in between, around Lafayette Square and the Washington Monument during those two days, including a “Stop the Steal” rally that coincided with spontaneous celebrations.
